STORY 01
Pavilion Cosplay Magic Portrait
The concept
A cosplayer in a detailed dark and gold fantasy costume stands within a traditional wooden lattice pavilion, surrounded by dense green garden foliage, holding an ornate prop. Golden glowing magical particle effects are positioned around the figure, with a large foreground prop placed out of focus for depth.
The finish
The final images use soft natural daylight filtering through the trees, with warm bokeh highlights to frame the scene. The sharp focus rests on the cosplayer, balancing the rich texture of the wooden pavilion and lush background greenery. The golden light trails add a subtle fantastical layer that complements the costume's ornate detailing.
STORY 02
Rabbit Fantasy Cosplay
The concept
Two complementary cosplay portraits feature a figure in a red and gold traditional-style costume, rabbit ear headpiece, and paper parasol, with one shot set on a lit stone courtyard and the other framed by illustrated ink-wash artwork and decorative text.
The finish
The first image uses high-angle warm lighting to capture dynamic movement of hair and fabric, highlighting the wet patterned stone and glowing lantern above. The second framed portrait presents a direct, reaching pose against a stylised moonlit landscape backdrop, with decorative border elements framing the subject to reinforce the themed fantasy aesthetic.

Vork Photography is a family business run by my parents and me. I’m the 16-year-old photographer behind the lens, based in Brisbane. For the past year, I've been learning to see the everyday a little differently.
